Levin, Eugene D. August 14, 2009. Beloved husband of Carole Levin; devoted father of Daniel M. Levin and Melissa Lissie Levin; dear son of the late Max and the late Ruth Levin; dear brother and brother-in-law of Arnold (Roslyn) Levin; dear uncle of Mindy (Andrew) Brenner and Robyn (Michael) Gomberg; dear brother-in-law of Jimmy Cohen; dear son-in-law of the late Ben and Selma Cohen. Gene was a honest, strong, hardworking gentleman. He left behind a loving wife and family. He would have been proud of them; especially his son Dan, who gave a wonderful eulogy to him. He was a friend to many, and I am proud to have been one of them. As Don Turken said about him when we played on the U City High School football team: "We will all be together one day in the great football game in the sky". We will miss him. Buddy Cooper |
